Ex-California Mayor Wang Pleads Guilty as Chinese Agent
Eileen Wang, the mayor of a Los Angeles suburb, resigned and agreed to plead guilty to acting as an unregistered agent for the Chinese government. Prosecutors stated she promoted pro-China propaganda at the behest of Chinese officials.
